Reinstall WordPad if missing: This fix reinstalls the popular txt processor WordPad, which has been removed in recent versions of Windows 11.

Added the following tweaks to the Tools and tweaks module:

Deactivate the Windows Update service - This tweak applies a benign hack to the wuauserv service, which prevents it from starting, and also attemps to prevent Windows from fixing it. This tweak does not harm the operating system at all, and the service's functionality is fully restored when the tweak is disabled.

Create a System Info HTML log: This fix will create an HTML file containing information about this computer's hardware and software.
Autoruns by SysInternals: Update and run Autoruns. This tool provides a complete view of everything that starts when your system boots or when you log in.
HWMonitor by CPUID: Update and run HWMonitor. This tool is a hardware monitoring program that reads PC systems main health sensors :
voltages, temperatures, powers, currents, fans speed, utilizations, clock speeds.
Install/Repair the Start Menu app: This fix attempts to reinstall the Windows Start Menu app. .Run this fix only if you're having isues with the Start Menu.
Delete Windows Update downloads: This fix empties the %Windir%\SoftwareDistribution\Downloads folder.
Delete the Windows.old folder: This fix permanently deletes any remaining %SystemDrive%\Windows.old* folders.

Added buttons to test the downloads when creating custom third party apps, in the System Repair module. If the download is of the Parse Link Text type, a new dialog box called Parse Link Text Parser, especially designed to help creating and testing that download method. Added a new checkbox to the Options module, Auto script tab: Execute the selected actions before showing the running protection password dialog box. This option controls whether the automatic scrips and commands should be executed before requesting a password to run the application. You can - for instance - set a command or script that executes your remote support software and enable this feature.

Because uBlock origin is no longer supported by chrome, the Install uBlock Origin for Chrome System repair fix, and the <InstalluBlockOriginChrome> script command now install uBlock Origin Lite.

Updating or reinstalling UVK no longer closes any running instances. It now is able to update while keeping old applications running.

Fixed: Register system DLLs was causing Windows Security to show a blank page on Windows 11. This is a Windows bug, not a UVK bug, It was happening when registering SecurityHealthProxyStub.dll. The DLL is now excluded from registering, and the issue has been reported to Microsoft.

System repair: Fix the Windows store and Metro apps no longer runs the Windows store apps troubleshooter (becase it's been removed). Instead, all store apps are reinstalled.

System repair: Because the Start menu troubleshooter also has been removed, a new fix was added to the System repair and optimization group: Install/Repair the Start Menu app. This new fix attempts to reinstall the Windows Start Menu app. Run this fix only if you're having isues with the Start Menu.

Run scripts: Added support for a new command for UVK scripts: <ReinstallStartMenu>. This new commnad lets you apply the Install/Repair the Start Menu app fix straight from a UVK script.

Added a new subsection to Backup and Recovery named Copy/Move user data to another account. This feature is specially designed to help you migrate data from a user account into another one, not necessarily in the same drive. It can also be used to copy or move data from any folder to another.

Added a new item to the System repair's fixes list named Fix Microsoft Defender services. This fix reinstalls Microsoft Defender's services, and removes group policies that are eventually disabling Microsoft Defender Antivirus. You may need to run this fix in safe mode for it to be effective.

Added support for a new UVK scripting command named <FixMicrosoftDefender>. This new command lets you easily execute the fix above from a UVK script.

Added a new dialog box that lets you easily create a new note and manage the existing ones (edit, delete, ...); This dialog box can be executed from the Reporting and System repair modules, and also from a UVK script with the <AddEditNote> command. Notes now have a .rtf file extension.

The Backup and recovery module now uses the DiskCopy file copying tech for application data, fully restoring:

Internet browser data (login info, passwords, bookmarks, history).
Office files (outlook pst files, and all office programs settings).
User settings for most other applications (thunderbird, Skype, OpenOffice, TeamViwer, ...).

Note: To ensure a successfl data backup and restore, close all running programs and sign out of all other user accounts..

The Backup and recovery module now also lets you move files instead of copying them, when the source and destination are in the same drive letter (i.e. when restoring from Windows.old). Besides making the restore operation much faster, this is also useful when there is not enough free space for a data copy in the drive.

Added a new application as part of UVK's code: DeviceRescue, which is a highly featured replacement for the Windows Device Manager.

Because DeviceRescue was added to the Home screen, the first custom app was moved to the Custom apps dialog box, which now contains 21 buttons (2 more than previous versions). Thus, users can now have up to 21 custom apps.

Fixed: The Windows Store Apps uninstaller was not showing app names correctly.

Added a new System Repair item to the Maintenance actions group: Uninstall all devices not present. Added a new button to the Reporting module named Add a note. This new option lets you quickly write a text note that will be added to the report zip archive. This feature will soon be extended to other modules.

Added support for a new scripting command: <SetTechPowerSettings>. This new command optimizes the current power scheme settings so the computer will not enter sleep mode automatically. Also, closing the laptop's lid does nothing, hard drives and displays are always on, the display is dimmed after 5 minutes.

Added support for a new scripting command:<ResetPowerSettings>. This new command applies the following settings for the current power scheme: Close lid action: Sleep. HDD power off and sleep timeout: 30 min. Dim display timeout: 5 min. Display power off: 20 min.

The new scripting commands above are both single line commands, so they can be used not only in UVK scripts, but also as third party app commands (System repair), or custom apps' commands (Home module).

Added support for changing the text of the 'More custom apps' button in the Home screen, by right-clicking the button and selecting 'Edit this button's name'. This setting can be exported to UVKSettings.ini and to CloudSync. This feature was requested.

Added a new tweak to the 'Tools and tweaks' module, Registry tweaks tab: Disable Office saving to OneDrive. This tweak removes the OneDrive saving location from any version of Microsoft Office installed.

All the tweaks from the 'Tools and tweaks' module (Registry tweaks tab), can now be applied through a UVK script. More than 100 single-line command tags were added in order to support applying or removing each of the tweaks. Because script tags can be used as custom apps' commands, you can now easily create custom apps that apply up to four tweaks at once. See the tweaks list here.

Updated the Log Analyzer with support for inserting the Tweaks' tags mentioned above.

Updated the threat scanner to the latest version which inludes adding the ability to customize the aggressivity of the Threat scanner. Users can select one of three aggressivity levels:

Soft - Lower detection rate, but very few false positives
Medium - A combination of good detection rate and few false positives (default)
Aggressive - Very good detection rate but there may be more false positives

To control this feature from the threat scanner, go to Menu >> Malware detection settings.

Added support for setting the default malware scan's aggressivity from the Options module, Malware scan tab. This feature can be exported to UVKSettings.ini and cloud synced.

Added two options to the SFX package creator: Include your branding logo and icon, and Include your license file (key.uvkey). The previous option to include both the license key and logo was removed. This gives users more control on what to include in their SFX package.

Also added support for two more command line switches that let you automatically start a scan with the desired aggressivity level: /Soft and /Aggressive. If neither is specified, the Medium aggressivity level is used.

Tweaked the UI colors for better reading.
